The Miami FC 2017 Spring Season Championship Celebration

Doral, FL – I think it goes without saying that Miami appreciates winners. That was very much apparent Friday at the Miami FC spring season championship celebration at CityPlace Doral, where a large contingent of Miami FC fans came out to celebrate the team’s first ever championship, along with their hometown heroes. You could feel the excitement brewing as Miami FC Stadium Announcer, Big O introduced the team, player by player, culminating with head coach Alessandro Nesta. Bruce Silverman hyped up the growing crowd, and brought up some key characters to talk about the season.

After the presentation, all the players made themselves available to sign autographs, shake hands, and take pictures with fans. There were definitely some young fans becoming life-long Miami FC fans after meeting some of their favorite stars. We were able to catch up with Miami FC’s spring season MVP, Kwadwo Poku and team captain, Michael Lahoud. It’s easy to see why both are looked at as leaders in this young organization. You might call them Avengers. After all, Mike Lahoud did say something about “great power…” and “responsibility…”
