Buccaneers Superstar Vita Vea Requested Trade

Tampa Bay, FL – After spending 8 years with the Buccaneers, Veteran Defensive Tackle Vita Vea has requested a trade.  The reason has been revealed to be around contract disputes: “Failing to agree to a contract extension,” according to Mike Garafolo.

In his tenure with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Vea has received two Pro Bowl invites, in 2021 and 2024, and helped them secure a Super Bowl. Vea and the Bucs began contract negotiations at the start of the offseason, and early reports indicated Vea was holding out.

Possible Landing Locations

Now that teams have been notified that Vita Vea wants out, offers should come pouring into the Bucs’ inbox. Early Favorites include: The 49ers and the Lions, who both could use his skill set.
