If you’re parched on campus, there’s going to be plenty of new beverage options at FIU. It’s been announced that Coca-Cola will become the new official beverage partner of Florida International University, replacing Pepsi as the main brand on campus.

Starting May 19th, Coca-Cola will take over beverage, vending, and pouring rights across MMC and BBC. This means that every vending machine, shop, and dining location will be swapping Pepsi products in favor of Coca-Cola.

From an Athletics perspective, this means that Coke will be replacing Pepsi at every stadium and arena on campus. FIU Men’s Basketball had previously partnered with Starry – a Pepsi product – as a game sponsor back on November 18th.

“We’re grateful to PepsiCo for years of partnership and support — and now, we’re kicking off an exciting new era with Coca-Cola,” said ShopFIU. “This exciting partnership brings more than just iconic beverages to our campuses—it delivers meaningful opportunities for students and the broader university community.”

“From scholarships and exclusive internships to cutting-edge sustainability efforts, campus experiences, and Coca-Cola’s newest innovations, this collaboration is designed to elevate student life and support FIU’s mission of academic excellence and engagement.”

FIU students will have access to annual internship opportunities with Coca-Cola Florida. Each year, Coca-Cola will also award scholarships to support FIU students in their academic journey. An FIU student will even be hired as a Coke Campus Ambassador to launch and sample the newest products.

So, expect plenty of Coca-Cola in all its different varieties like Diet Coke and Coke Zero. This will include other drinks such as Sprite, Fanta, Minute Maid, Powerade, Dasani, and Monster Energy.
