CORAL GABLES, FL – The University of Miami women’s basketball program and Head Coach Tricia Cullop have been hard at work in recruiting players for the upcoming season. Below is a list of all transfer players for the Lady Canes.
Vittoria Blasigh
Blasigh is a 5’9 guard from Udine, Italy. She has spent the past two seasons playing for South Florida. In 33 games last season, she posted an average of 10.4 points per game on 43.6% shooting from the court, 36.7% from behind the arc, and 75.0% at the free throw line. Vittoria Blasigh led her team to an NCAA Tournament appearance.

“Vikki is a knockdown shooter with great 3-point range and the ability to shoot off the dribble,” said Cullop. “She’s a veteran guard and a proven winner who thrives in clutch moments.”
Mya Kone
Kone is a 6’2 forward from Pompano Beach, Florida. After spending her freshman season at James Madison, she competed for FIU the past two seasons. During the 2023-24 campaign, Mya Kone averaged 11.4 points and 8.1 rebounds per game, winning First Team All-CUSA and the 2024 CUSA Sixth Player of the Year.

“We absolutely love Mya’s size, length, and versatility,” said Cullop. “She can play multiple positions and score in a variety of ways. She is an outstanding rebounder who will be a matchup problem for opponents.”
Gal Raviv
Raviv is a 5’9 point guard from Netanya, Israel. She just spent her freshman season competing for Quinnipiac. Gal Raviv had a phenomenal season where she was named the 2025 Mid-American Athletic Conference (MAAC) Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year. She led the team in points (17.9), rebounds (5.5), and assists (4.3) per game.

“We are thrilled Gal is joining our program,” said Cullop. “She can score at all three levels, has outstanding court vision, and is a proven winner. She has also enjoyed great success internationally representing Team Israel.”
Jessica Peterson
Peterson is a 6’2 center from Rancho Cucamonga, California. She spent her first season at Fresno State before spending the past three seasons at SMU. Jessica Peterson started in 30 games this past season and showed elite rebounding skills. She ranked first on her team with 12.0 rebounds per contest, a single-season program record.

“Jessica is a proven veteran in the ACC,” said Cullop. “She led the league and was seventh in the nation in rebounding. She is a shot blocker who can score inside and out. We love her size, strength, and motor.”
Amarachi Kimpson
Kimpson is a 5’8 guard from Little Elm, Texas. She spent the past two seasons playing for UNLV. After starting all 33 games last season, she earned All-Mountain West First Team honors. Amarachi Kimpson averaged 14.5 points per contest on 50.7% shooting from the field, 37.4% from downtown, and 83.3% at the free throw line.

“Amarachi can score at all three levels,” said Cullop. “She has a quick first step and is an efficient scorer who shot 50 percent from the field the last two seasons. She finished the season second in the Mountain West in field goal percentage and ranked tenth in the conference in scoring. With her speed and quickness, she has the ability to positively impact both ends of the floor.”
Ra Shaya Kyle
Shaya Kyle is a 6’6 center who’s from Marion, Indiana. She spent the first two years of college at Purdue before playing for Florida over the last three seasons. Ra Shaya Kyle started in all 37 games this past season while ranking first on the team with 8.7 rebounds per game and second with 14.2 points per game.

“Shay was a dominant post player in the SEC, often drawing double teams,” said Cullop. “She is very skilled on the low block and is capable of scoring with both hands. She can also knock down 15-foot shots with ease. With her 6’6” frame, she will be a force for us on both ends of the floor.”
Candace Kpetikou
Kpetikou is a 6’3 center who’s from Niamey, Niger. She spent the past two seasons at Washington State. Candace Kpetikou redshirted the 2023-24 season. Last season, she started in seven of her 33 games, averaging 3.4 points and 3.2 rebounds per game while shooting 42.9% from the floor.

Candace has tremendous potential, and we cannot wait to help her continue to develop her game. She has had the distinct honor of representing her country of Benin internationally competing with FIBA 3v3. We believe that Candace has a very bright future as a Hurricane.”
