Alex gives an update on the starting rotation and the head-scratching demotion of Max Meyer to the minors to continue his recovery from Tommy John surgery.
Even though Meyer has been Miami’s best-starting pitcher, Edward Cabrera has returned from his injury to make his 2024 debut to take Meyer’s place in the rotation and has not disappointed. Alex wraps up this episode talking about the Marlins’ struggling offense and the one player who not many expected to be Miami’s best hitter so far this season.
