MIAMI, FL – The Miami Heat hosted its annual Red, White & Pink scrimmage on Tuesday at the Kaseya Center. The event gave fans a chance to see the Heat on their home court while raising money to celebrate breast cancer survivors and those still fighting.

To spread breast cancer awareness, the event partnered with Baptist Health of South Florida. Physicians, physician champions, and breast cancer survivors walked out with Heat players and Coach Erik Spoelstra before the scrimmage started.

Scrimmage Lineups

Tickets were just $10, and the proceeds benefited cancer care and research at the Baptist Health Herbert Wertheim Cancer Institute. Fans got a first glance of what this revamped Heat roster looked like

Forward Andrew Wiggins and guard Pelle Larsson weren’t in the lineup due to illness. Guard Dru Smith (right calf strain) and two-way contract forward Keshad Johnson (right hamstring strain) didn’t play due to recent injuries.

The Red Team started Simone Fontecchio, Davion Mitchell, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Klay Thompson, and Bam Adebayo. The White Team started Ryan Conwell, Nikola Jovic, Tim Hardaway Jr., Myron Gardner, and Bobby Portis Jr.

Hardly any defense was played in this game, as the players were out there just enjoying themselves as teammates. In what felt like an NBA All-Star Game, players pulled off some of their own tricks.
