FIU Softball has announced two freshman defensive standouts who will be providing a boost in the team’s outfield.
West Coast to East Coast
Charli Pages enters FIU as a business economics major. She graduated from El Segundo High School in California. Pages was a starter in the outfield on her varsity team in all four years and was named Defensive Player of the Year three times. In 2025, she led her team to the League Championship and a Top-20 ranking statewide.
2024-25 was her strongest season at the plate. Pages hit .312 with 23 runs, 11 RBI, four doubles, a triple, and four home runs. Fielding-wise, she posted a .973 fielding percentage along with 35 putouts. In 2023-24, she held a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage with 38 total chances.
On the club circuit, Pages was a sensational player for the Bengals Briggs. She finished 8th at the 2023 PFG Nationals and 9th at the 2024 Colorado Sparkler tournament. Charli Pages has also competed internationally for Cuba, earning 3rd place in 2023 and 2nd in 2024.

Versatile Talent from Palm Beach Gardens
Victoria Scott comes to FIU to major in psychology. She attended Palm Beach Gardens High School, where she obtained her AICE Diploma and qualified for Florida’s Bright Futures Scholarship.
In 2023-24, Scott hit .358 with 28 runs, 28 RBI, nine doubles, three triples, and a home run. On the field, she contributed with 26 putouts, 31 assists, and four double plays.
Scott is a versatile athlete, having played in the outfield and at third base. She won Female Athlete of the Year honors at her school for her outstanding performance on the field. Scott has competed for clubs such as the E.C. Bullets and the Lady Gators.
