MIAMI, FL – The Miami HEAT announced today that they have signed guard Ryan Conwell. Per club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Conwell, who was acquired by the HEAT in a draft night trade, was selected in the second round (37th overall) in the 2026 NBA Draft. He started in all 34 games as a senior at Louisville last season and averaged a team-high 18.8 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.12 steals and 30.9 minutes while shooting 40.8 percent from the field, 34.5 percent from three-point range and 83.2 percent from the foul line. He was named to the All-ACC Second Team and to the NABC All-District Second Team. He scored a single season career best 638 points, finishing his collegiate career with 1,991 total points, and made a single season best 124 free throws. He connected on a single season best 112 three-point field goals, finishing among the Top 15 in the nation. He also totaled 15 20-point games, including two 30-point performances. Additionally, Conwell led the Cardinals in points, steals, defensive rebounds, field goals made, three-point field goals made, free throws made and minutes.
Conwell will wear number 7.
