FIU Women’s Basketball has announced its full 2026-27 schedule, which features seven home games and three away games.

Jacksonville – Home
Jacksonville finished last season at 24-9 and won the ASUN Conference tournament championship. Their efforts resulted in a first-round March Madness appearance.
Stetson – Home
FIU will host Stetson at the Ocean Bank Convocation Center on November 10th. The Panthers are 14-0 against the Hatters, beating them last March 76-73 in the first round of the WNIT.
Stetson is coming off a positive 20-12 record last season.
South Florida – Away
The Panthers will play their first road game against South Florida on November 15th. FIU lost 81-56 to the Bulls in last year’s season opener. They are currently on an eight-game losing streak in the series.
USF finished 20-12 last season and lost in the American tournament quarterfinals. FIU looks to win their first game against the Bulls since 1997.
Miami – Away
FIU will then face its in-town rivals in Coral Gables on November 19th. The Panthers dropped their last meeting on November 19, 2024, 79-51.
Miami finished 18-15 last season, losing in the second round of both the ACC Women’s Tournament and WBIT. FIU hasn’t beaten the Hurricanes since December 2007.
North Dakota – Home
The Panthers will face North Dakota for the first time in program history in the first game of the FIU Holiday Classic on November 27th.
Last season, the Fighting Hawks finished 7-24.
TBA – Home
FIU’s second holiday classic game will be played on November 29th. Further details will be announced during the tournament, depending on seeding.
Florida Atlantic – Home
The Panthers will host Florida Atlantic at The Bank on December 5th. Both teams split the season series in 2025-26.
FAU went 14-18 last season and got eliminated in the second round of the American tournament.
Georgia Southern – Away
Both teams last played in November 2023, with Georgia Southern winning 81-69. The Eagles went 23-8 last season as the Sun Belt regular-season champions.
Morgan State – Home
The Panthers play against Morgan State on December 18th in their first game of the FIU Holiday Classic. They won 59-50 the last time these teams met in December 2018.
Last season, the Bears went 5-26 after losing in the first round of the MEAC tournament.
North Carolina Central – Home
FIU closes out its non-conference schedule against NC Central in their final game of the FIU Holiday Classic on December 19th. Both programs will meet on the court for the first time since 2010.
New Mexico State
The Panthers begin their Conference USA schedule at home against New Mexico State on January 2nd and close it out on the road on March 6th.
FIU won 83-74 last season in their only meeting last season on the road. The Aggies finished 9-21 record last season.
Sam Houston
FIU has a home contest against Sam Houston on January 4th and will face them on the road on March 4th. The Panthers beat the Bearkats in both games last season by close scores.
Liberty
The Panthers play their first road conference game against Liberty on January 8th before hosting them on February 6th. FIU handled business twice against the Lady Flames last season, winning by double-digit scores.
The Lady Flames went 18-13 last season and lost in the C-USA semifinals.
Delaware
FIU will travel to play Delaware on January 10th and will host them at the Ocean Bank Convocation Center on February 4th. The Panthers dropped last season’s road contest but won decisively at home.
The Fightin’ Blue Hens finished 13-19 last season and lost in the first round of the C-USA tournament.
Missouri State
The Panthers play Missouri State on the road on January 16th and at home on February 13th. FIU lost both contests last season by double digits and then lost 74-69 in the C-USA semifinals.
Middle Tennessee
The Blue Raiders finished 17-16 last season, reaching the C-USA quarterfinals and the WNIT Super 16.
Western Kentucky
The Panthers will play Western Kentucky at the OBCC on January 23rd and then travel to face them on February 18th.
FIU beat WKU in both matchups last season. The Lady Toppers finished 8-21 in 2025-26.
Jacksonville State
Jax State finished 16-19 last season, losing in the C-USA tournament quarterfinal.
Kennesaw State
The Owls finished 13-17 and lost in the first round of the C-USA tournament last season.
