The past couple of weeks have been very successful for the FIU Panthers. They have achieved a combined record of 14 wins and seven losses over the last five games, including a 4-1 record during this period. Losing to Florida Gulf Coast, FGCU, in a five-set heartbreaker. The Panthers have been on a tear in Conference play.
The FIU Panthers are off to a hot start after starting 0-2 and sweeping both the Flames of Liberty and the Gamecocks of Jacksonville State. The Panthers have yet to drop a single conference series this season, while at the Ocean Bank Convocation Center.

This is the first time since the historic 2018 season when they went a perfect 7-0 at home. Their hopes of another 7-0 season rest on the result of the MTSU games on November 7th and 8th.
Looking back at the past couple of weeks, it is difficult to pick a specific student-athlete to highlight, as everyone played their part in both series. This FIU Panthers team is resilient and has put Conference USA on notice. The FIU Panthers are here and ready to compete.
Postseason Around The Corner
Looking ahead, the Panthers host the Middle Tennessee State University Blue Raiders, MTSU, to wrap up the regular season.

Above all else, beating the teams on the schedule is the most important before even looking at the postseason seeding. After the MTSU series, the Panthers travel to El Paso to take on the current leader of Conference USA, the University of Texas-El Paso Miners.
The Panthers are tied with the Owls of Kennesaw State for 2nd in Conference USA. (Refer to graphic above) Since the Owls hold the tiebreaker, the Panthers must win all their remaining games. The chances of getting the one seed are minimal, with the three seed being the most realistic.
