Nu Stadium-The young New York Red Bulls battled to a 2–2 draw in Miami, with standout performances from rising stars Julian Hall and Adri Mehmeti. Hall recorded two assists on the night, while Mehmeti scored the equalizer to secure the result for New York. Mateo Silvetti and Germán Berterame each found the back of the net for the Herons.
Julian Hall showcased his pace on the opening goal, bursting forward before cutting back to leave two Miami defenders out of position. He then slipped a pass into the box to Jorge Ruvalcaba, who finished to give New York an early 1–0 lead.

The Herons grabbed the lead early in the second half as Germán Berterame netted his first MLS goal for Inter Miami. Lionel Messi, as he so often does, created the opportunity, and Berterame finished it off to make it 2–1.

The Baby Bulls had one more push in them, and Julian Hall delivered again, leaving two Inter Miami defenders behind before setting up another goal. The 18-year-old recorded his second assist of the night, this time finding 17-year-old Adri Mehmeti, who finished to salvage a draw for the Red Bulls.

A disappointing result for Inter Miami CF and a rewarding draw for the up-and-coming baby bulls.
The Herons tried until the last minute, but have to settle for the disappointing 2-2 draw @nustadium ..#InterMiamiCF committed a pair of silly defensive miscues that cost them dearly.. The young bulls played a nice game..#MLS #Lemoncitylive pic.twitter.com/NRiIVm5w9D

Berterame Strikes
Germán Berterame has endured a difficult adjustment to both MLS and Inter Miami’s style of play. The $15 million striker entered the match without a goal in his first six league appearances, and the tension in his play was evident. Early on, Berterame mishit a well-delivered cross in front of goal, drawing groans from the home crowd after another missed opportunity.
In the 55th minute, Germán Berterame finally found the back of the net, giving the Herons a 2–1 lead over New York. The goal snapped his scoreless streak and could mark the beginning of a scoring streak for him.

Miami Miscues
Inter Miami has yet to secure its first victory at NU Stadium, settling for draws in its first two matches at the new venue. On both New York goals, Maximiliano Falcón committed costly errors uncharacteristic of a player with his experience.
On the Red Bulls’ opening goal, Falcón stepped out of position and charged toward Julian Hall, who Micael was pressuring. Hall abruptly stopped, allowing both Miami defenders to overrun the play before slipping a precise pass to Jorge Ruvalcaba for the opening goal. Falcón’s decision left the Herons exposed, and the home crowd bewildered.

New York’s second goal was equally perplexing. Julian Hall used a simple feint to leave two of Inter Miami’s most experienced players off balance. Rodrigo De Paul and Maximiliano Falcón both lunged in, allowing Hall to turn into the box and deliver his second assist of the night for the game-tying goal.

Once again, defensive issues are undermining Inter Miami’s ability to secure victories. Javier Mascherano and his back line will need to find solutions quickly if the Herons are to contend for trophies this season.
